Howdy! Thanks for visiting Astrofauna, a blog about the thing I love most: nature. My name is Patrick McCauley, and I currently work as a support scientist for the Solar and Stellar X-Ray Group at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. Before landing there, I worked for the National Radio Astronomy Observatory and conducted shows at the John C. Wells Planetarium. While I haven’t much formal training in biology, I am continually awed by the biodiversity on our little planet and am always eager to learn and share more about life on earth.
